Billionaire Elon Musk is redoubling his efforts to bring Donald Trump back to the White House and declared that he was “all in” for the Republican candidate during an interview broadcast Monday with conservative presenter Tucker Carlson.

The richest man in the world, owner of the social network X, but also of Tesla and SpaceX, was present on Saturday at a gathering of the former president. He then assured that Donald Trump must win on November 5, “to preserve the Constitution and democracy”.

In his two-hour interview with Tucker Carlson broadcast Monday, Elon Musk repeated his warning.

“My opinion is that if Trump does not win this election, this is the last election we will have,” he told the former star presenter of Fox News, the favorite channel of American conservatives.

Now with his own show hosted on “.

“I’m all in, baby!” the billionaire replied. “If he loses, I’m screwed…” he adds, laughing.

During the interview, Elon Musk also accused the Democratic camp of transporting, according to him, “illegal” migrants to a handful of key states so that they would eventually obtain American citizenship and vote Democratic.

“Today, these gaps in key states are sometimes 10,000, 20,000 votes. So what happens if you put hundreds of thousands of people in every key state? he said.

The billionaire’s allegations are a common leitmotif among the American conservative right, which tends to exaggerate the number of people who obtain political asylum in the United States.

Some 54,000 people were in this case in 2023, according to official figures, while the total population of the United States exceeds 330 million.
