Artificial intelligence has many useful applications in the workforce, from automating customer service workflows to quickly processing massive scientific data sets, but systems with this technology can’t do everything.

There are jobs and professions that will continue to exist no matter how advanced humanity becomes, and no matter how advanced artificial intelligence and robots become, it is unlikely that artificial intelligence will be able to replace jobs that require human skills such as judgment, creativity, physical dexterity, and emotional intelligence, according to the “Future of Jobs Report 2023” issued by About the World Economic Forum, an in-depth analysis of how jobs and skills will evolve over the next five years.

According to the report, the skills most in demand by employers over the next five years will include analytical thinking, empathy and active listening, leadership and social influence.

Overall, 50% of organizations expect AI to eventually lead to job growth, while only 25% see it leading to job losses, according to the forum’s report.

Another report – prepared by the American Employment Institute – indicated that the jobs that are safest from artificial intelligence and automation are those that require human qualities that a robot cannot imitate, and that the most creative fields, which do not adhere to strict routines, will reduce the risk of artificial intelligence replacing jobs.

In this report, Al Jazeera Net reviews more than 100 jobs in various sectors that require humans to perform them and cannot be dispensed with now and in the future, according to what was mentioned by a number of specialized websites and platforms, including Forbes, the American Employment Institute, the World Economic Forum, and the UpWork platform.

AI-resistant jobs

These are the ten jobs that are resistant to artificial intelligence, and are expected to witness the highest growth rate by 2032, according to a report by the American Employment Institute.

AI technologies cannot replace the individual human interaction or interpersonal skills of healthcare workers. From bedside care to mental health support, people will continue to be an essential part of healthcare.
