A McDonald’s customer sued the fast food giant in connection with an outbreak of E. coli, Wednesday, in the United States. The whole thing is linked to the chain’s Quarter Pounder hamburger, according to authorities.

Illinois resident Eric Stelley reportedly ate this hamburger from a McDonald’s in Colorado three weeks ago.
It was after his meal that he began to experience several symptoms such as nausea, cramps and rectal bleeding, according to a press release issued by lawyer Ron Simon.
The 10-page complaint accuses the U.S. company of negligence, product liability and other claims involving the illnesses, according to USA Today.
This comes a day after a food safety warning issued by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
This notice triggered an investigation in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
