An American veteran unimpressed by the choice of candidates in the next American elections has reportedly legally changed his name to file his candidacy.

“Three hundred million people can do better. There really should be an outlet for people like me who are so fed up with this constant power grab between the two parties that simply does not benefit ordinary people,” Dustin Ebey, 35, reportedly said, according to “The Guardian” Monday.

The American veteran who today teaches high school mathematics would have changed his name to “Literally Anybody Else”, which means “literally anyone else” in French, to file his candidacy for the 2024 American elections .

On his driving license, the three words he considers a “rallying cry” according to his website have replaced the space for his first and last name, according to the British media.

Because according to him, the choice of presidential candidates, Joe Biden and Donald Trump, leaves something to be desired.

“It’s not necessarily about me as a person, it’s about anyone else as an idea,” he told Dallas television station WFAA. We don’t have a ‘neither’ option on the ballot, and this kind of fulfills that role.”

The man from Dallas, Texas will need to obtain 113,000 signatures from voters in the state of Texas by May for his name to appear on the ballot in the US elections, according to “The Guardian”.
