“When the Chiefs went to the Super Bowl, we realized a Valentine’s Day victory parade was possible, and she agreed to come on board,” said Bob, a Chiefs fan for 23 years. , At New YorkPost.

It was among the crowd of a million people that the couple decided to organize their wedding. The Wheelers’ guests signed a Chiefs helmet. The newlyweds had even prepared a “Love-bardi” trophy for the occasion.

As the area became overcrowded, the lovebirds and their guests decided to end the ceremony and go eat together. That’s when the gunshots started.

“We were at the top of the hill about 15 minutes in when the shots were heard,” said Bob, who initially thought they were fireworks. It was only when he returned home that his family told him it was a shooting.

“It’s a shame, but it seems like we can no longer gather so many people in one place without something like this happening,” he lamented.

Bob Wheeler hopes his story can inspire people so they can focus on the positive around them.

“The day was filled with love for us, and I don’t want people to think of the negative when they think about it,” he stressed.

Two men aged 23 and 18 face justice in this story.
