(Washington) The former American vice-president Kamala Harris announced Thursday the publication in September of a book, entitled 107 Days (107 days), where she must detail “behind the scenes” from her 2024 presidential campaign, carried out at a charge and finally lost to Donald Trump.
“A little over a year ago, I launched my campaign to become president of the United States; 107 days to browse the country, to fight for our future-the shortest presidential campaign in modern history “in the United States, explains Kamala Harris in a video on social networks.
The book, published by Simon & Schuster editions, will appear on September 23 in the United States.

The first woman to access the American vice-president in 2021, she had been propelled candidate of the Democratic Party in the 2024 election after the abandonment of Joe Biden in July. The president, then aged 81, had been forced to give up his hopes of re -election due to pressing concerns about his state of health.
Kamala Harris says he wrote his book “With sincerity and introspection”, and promises “a backstage of this course” of the campaign.
The former Senator of California had already announced Wednesday that she would not be a candidate in 2026 for the post of governor of this state, the most populous in the country. But a new candidacy for the White House in 2028 is not to be excluded, according to the American press.
In her video, she explains that a “truth” has imposed itself on her: “sometimes the fight takes some time”. A statement that should feed the rumor machine on its political future.
While she had almost disappeared from the public debate after her defeat against Donald Trump, Kamala Harris therefore marks her return.
The Democrat will also make an appearance in the Late show From Stephen Colbert, one of the flagship talk shows on American television. The CBS channel recently announced that it would deprogram next year, officially for economic reasons, this program, whose host is a notorious critic of Donald Trump.
Another figure in the White House under Joe Biden, spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre, also announced in early June the upcoming publication of a book, entitled Independent. She had also announced to leave the Democratic Party, which she accuses of having “betrayed” her former boss Joe Biden.
