Jon Bon Jovi managed to convince a woman not to take her own life in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was filming a music video.
On Tuesday night, the American singer-songwriter was on the Pedestrian Bridge with his crew to film a video for his song People’s Housementioned Page Six.
He quickly spotted a person standing on the other side of the railing, just above the water.

The singer of Livin’ on a Prayer approached her before speaking to her with a member of his team. Local police are unaware of what Mr. Bon Jovi said, but they managed to convince the woman not to go through with the act. They then helped her over the railing to the other side.
The Nashville Metropolitan Police Department wanted to pay tribute to the artist on X. “Hats off to (Jon Bon Jovi) and his team for helping a woman on the bridge,” it read.
“We all need to do our part to keep each other safe,” said their leader, John Drake.

According to Page SixMr. Bon Jovi has been trained for this type of crisis situation because of his involvement with the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation. He also clarified that he would not comment on the event on social media, out of respect for the person who was vulnerable.
