A former New York resident of Jewish descent who lives in Israel is urging Jews to leave the United States, according to the New York Post.
Hillel Fuld, who moved to Israel at age 15, believes Israel is the safest place for Jews. Anti-Semitic crimes are skyrocketing in the United States. The man lost his brother to a stabbing death by a Palestinian in the West Bank.
“Jews, you have to get out (of the United States) while there is still time,” he said.
The 45-year-old man who lives between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem described the recent wave of attacks on Jews in the country of Uncle Sam as “heartbreaking.”
“Nobody needs to lecture me about terrorism, I know that,” he said. “You’re not safe on the streets of New York or Los Angeles anymore.”
Anti-Semitic hate crimes increased by 45% in 2024, according to New York City Police Department statistics obtained by the Big Apple newspaper.
In June, a 24-year-old anti-Israel protester reportedly stormed a New York City subway car, demanding that “Zionists” raise their hands. Saleha was arrested on June 26 after a weeks-long manhunt.
“We’re literally in 1930s Europe,” Fuld said of the subway incident. “It’s scary that this could happen in New York.”
