Occupied Jerusalem- A report issued by the Jerusalem Governorate, the highest official Palestinian representation of the city, monitored a group of Israeli violations against the city and its Palestinian residents during last November.
The report stated that Jerusalem provided 14 martyrs, including 4 children, and a freed Jerusalemite prisoner deported to the Gaza Strip, indicating that the bodies of 34 Jerusalemite martyrs continue to be held in refrigerators and cemeteries.
The report touched on the ongoing arrest campaign in the city, which last month affected 286 Jerusalemites in all areas of the Jerusalem Governorate, indicating that among the detainees were 16 children and 13 women.
The November report monitored 4 settler attacks, most notably the encroachment on lands belonging to the Armenian Patriarchate in occupied Jerusalem, an area estimated at approximately 11,000 square metres.
Regarding the raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque, the report stated that 2,826 settlers stormed the mosque “under heavy protection from heavily armed special occupation forces.”
The report monitored 16 house arrest decisions issued by the occupation authorities against Jerusalemite citizens, in addition to two deportation decisions from the city.

Regarding the demolition operations, it was reported that they amounted to 18 operations, including 9 forced self-demolition operations (to avoid heavy fines if the occupation carried out the demolition operation), and 9 demolition operations carried out by the occupation mechanisms, in addition to one bulldozing operation.
On the other hand, the report indicated the release of 79 Jerusalemite prisoners, including 24 women and 55 children, as part of a prisoner exchange deal with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
Since the start of the aggression on Gaza in October, the city of Jerusalem has been living under the influence of escalating tension, amid strict Israeli measures, extensive deployment of checkpoints, and preventing access to Al-Aqsa Mosque except for the elderly and within a limited scope.
