Former television host Jay Leno fell while attempting to descend a 60-foot hill last weekend.

The American comedian was seen with bruises on his face, an eye patch and a wrist splint as he arrived at a comedy show in Beverly Hills on Monday evening.

Asked by TMZ, Jay Leno said he had a nasty fall near his hotel on his way to a restaurant.

He had to go down a hill to get to his reservation location and had the bad idea of taking a shortcut rather than following the traditional route. What had to happen happened.

The 74-year-old man lost his footing and fell down a portion of the slope.

This mishap, however, did not prevent the former star of talk shows late night to take the stage Monday night.

This incident is added to an already long list for several years for Jay Leno. The comedian suffered serious burns during a fire which broke out while he was working on one of his classic cars in November 2022.

Two months later, he broke several bones in a motorcycle accident.
