A 37-year-old content creator who tried to create a buzz by showing herself making sourdough bread on a plane has been met with a barrage of criticism for her actions.
“I was trying to be creative after seeing another creator make pasta in flight, but thanks to your comments I learned that it was not a good idea,” tried to justify Maria Baradell, who apologized.
The 37-year-old influencer filmed herself on a plane from Chicago, Illinois, to Barcelona, Spain, making dough to make bread, according to a video posted on TikTok.
The young woman wanted to surprise her sister with fresh bread prepared in the air, but the video, which has been viewed more than 2.2 million times, has caused a real controversy on social networks.
“It’s a plane, not a bakery,” denounced several Internet users, who criticized the gesture of the influencer who, according to them, did not measure the danger linked to the bacteria present in the aircraft.
“I said I wouldn’t do it again because it was pointed out to me that the flour could pose a risk if there were coeliacs on the plane, since the air was recycled,” said Mr.me Baradell, according to The Independent.
