A recent report issued by the Israeli Bureau of Statistics revealed an increase in trade exchange between Israel and 4 Arab countries during the first half of this year.
According to the report, the total volume of trade exchange between Israel, the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain and Morocco amounted to $367 million in June alone.
According to official Israeli data, the UAE exported about $272 million to those countries in June, which represents a 5% increase over the same period a year ago.
Second place
Egypt came in second place with $35 million, an increase of 29% over what was recorded in June of last year, and Jordan ranked third among these Arab countries with $35 million, representing a decline of 14% compared to June 2023.
The volume of trade between Israel and Bahrain in June of last year reached $16.8 million, a record increase of 740% compared to the same period last year.
Trade between Morocco and Israel increased by 124% last June to $8.5 million.
