A fire broke out in a recreational vehicle (RV) following an explosion in Massachusetts, injuring three people.
The explosion was captured by nearby surveillance cameras.
These videos obtained by CNN show the scale of the detonation which notably melted the exterior cladding of one of the neighboring residences.
Two of the three victims were transported by helicopter to hospital while the other was transported by ambulance.
These three people were working around the RV when the explosion shook the entire neighborhood.
“It was a shock to my body, a level of adrenaline that I have never experienced before. I didn’t react too much externally, but internally it was something,” shares a witness, Evan Deleido.
“We heard a big explosion and then I looked out the window and saw a lot of smoke rising into the sky,” added another witness, John O’Donnell. “I ran down the street and saw the RV on fire.”
The fire was quickly contained by the authorities who opened an investigation into the incident.
The cause of the explosion has not yet been determined.
