A coffee shop in Middleborough, Massachusetts, has launched a quirky promotion offering a free drink to customers who enter the store dancing.
The manager of the establishment decided to offer coffee to all customers who danced for at least 5 seconds upon entering, as indicated on a poster at the entrance to the business.
And customers had a blast performing a few dance moves in exchange for free coffee, as reported by CBS News.
The elderly Duke manager told the American media that he had spotted this idea on social networks, citing the example of a pizzeria which had already experimented with this offer.
“We saw a pizza place doing it. And I said to myself: let’s do this for coffee,” Josh Rashid told WBZ-TV, congratulating himself on the success of this operation.
The owner of Café Milano did not expect such success from his free coffee idea which created a buzz on social networks, particularly on the TikTok platform where the video was a hit.
“We need a little more gentleness in this world, that’s for sure,” John Murray, a regular customer of the establishment, tried to philosophize.
