The luxurious town house in which Kevin McCallister traps the two thieves in the film “Mom, I Missed the Plane Again” was recently put up for sale, just in time for the holiday season, several American media report.

Located on 95th Street, very close to Central Park in New York, the residence that appears in the second installment of the “Mom, I Missed the Plane” franchise, was recently put on the market. The asking price is 6.7 million US dollars (8.84 million Canadian dollars).
Unlike what we see in the 1992 film, the three-story residence is completely renovated; it has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, as well as a powder room.
The property which extends over 445 square meters has a backyard with mature trees, paving stone flooring and a wooden terrace.
The interior features decorative moldings, high ceilings, walnut floors and two bay windows.
Even though the film “Mom, I Missed the Plane Again” was released in theaters more than 30 years ago, the current owners of the residence say they still receive letters today from children who saw it through -footage.
Even today, tourists regularly take photos in front of the property.
