About 60 people were also rescued in Pasco County, where several streets and buildings were flooded.

The hurricane Milton caused at least 10 deaths as it passed over Florida during the night from Wednesday to Thursday.

According to the latest data reported by CNN, about 470 mm (47 cm) of rain fell between Wednesday and Thursday morning in St. Petersburg and 304 mm in Clearwater.
