A 10-year-old boy trapped in a chimney was rescued by firefighters in Whitman, in the US state of Massachusetts.
The child apparently exited through a window located on the second floor of a residence, before climbing to the chimney, into which he fell, causing half of his body to remain trapped, authorities report.
The boy’s father, who was at work when the event took place, was called by his other son. The man immediately contacted the emergency services and rushed to return home.
Fortunately, the firefighters managed to free the 10-year-old boy quickly. The latter emerged unscathed from this incident.
