(Washington) The US government said on Tuesday that it would seek “anti-American” opinions, including on social networks, when it rules on the right to reside in the United States.
The American citizenship and immigration services, which deal with requests for stay in the United States or naturalization, have announced that they were going to strengthen control of messages published by immigration candidates in the United States on social networks.
“The advantages offered by the United States should not be granted to those who despise the country and promote anti-American ideologies,” said Matthew Tragesser, agency spokesperson, in a statement.
