A Tesla caught fire in a flooded garage after the remnants of Hurricane “Helene” swept across Florida and part of the southeastern United States.

The fire broke out in the vehicle’s electrical circuit, according to a video released by Pinellas County authorities who urged citizens to take the necessary measures in the face of this deluge.

Local authorities have urged owners of electric vehicles and bicycles not to park them in the garage or near combustible materials, the New York Post reported Sunday.

As a reminder, the violent category 4 hurricane which made landfall in Florida on Thursday caused significant material damage and caused the death of at least 93 people, while more than two million people were still without electricity on Sunday evening. .
