In a first interview since the 2024 election, the son of the 46e American president Joe Biden, Hunter, says that the defeat of the Democrats is attributable to the lack of loyalty to his father. He also denied that we sought to hide the truth about the state of health of his father.

In this interview, Hunter Biden denied the existence of a “great conspiracy” aimed at hiding his father’s health problems and said that the Democrats had lost the elections only because they had abandoned the outgoing president.

“We have lost the last elections because we did not stay faithful to the party leader,” said Hunter Biden in a new Balado hosted by the former president of the Democratic National Committee Jaime Harrison.

This is my opinion. We had the advantage of being in place, we had the advantage of an incredibly successful administration, and the Democratic Party has literally collapsed.

Joe Biden’s son, Hunter

Hunter Biden is known to fiercely protect his father, a behavior that turns out to be reciprocal: in the last weeks of his mandate, President Biden had pardoned his son, who had been accused of offenses to the legislation on firearms in Delaware and had pleaded guilty of tax evasion in California.

Mr. Harrison’s broom, entitled At the table, must be launched on Thursday and will present weekly interviews with Democratic leaders. Extracts from the episode with Hunter Biden were broadcast on Wednesday morning.

Among the first guests at the microphone of Mr. Harrison, we note the package of Vice-President Kamala Harris and Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, as well as the governor of Maryland, Wes Moore, and the representative of South Carolina, James E. Clyburn.

Joe Biden withdrew from the presidency race last summer after a highly criticized performance at the debate of June 27, 2024, which caused a collapse of the support within his party.

Since then, books have been published and have offered details on the 2024 campaign and the president’s decision to end his re -election campaign. One of them, Original sinwritten by journalists Alex Thompson and Jake Tapper, turned out to be the most provocative: there is an effort on the part of Joe Biden’s relatives to hide his state of health.

Hunter Biden refutes this allegation.

What is selling, I like? What sells is the idea of a conspiracy.

President Joe Biden’s son Hunter

He said that “the ability to keep a secret in Washington is zero” and that his father operated in such a “aquarium” that it would have been impossible to conceal health problems.

“Every day, hundreds of people,” said Hunter Biden, and you cannot get one of them that she said openly: “I saw the president do this or that thing?” »»

Hunter Biden also denied the information that he played an important role behind the scenes of his father’s administration. He said he “remained as far as possible”, which would have broken his heart.
