You should first know that they are all linked to the falsification of business documents to hide a $130,000 payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.
Of the 34 charges, 11 of them involved money funneled to Mr. Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen. According to the official verdict report, “the defendant… had the intent to defraud and the intent to commit another crime aimed at concealing the commission thereof.”
He therefore allegedly prepared a “false entry” in the commercial records of a company, namely an invoice from Michael Cohen, marked as a document of the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust and kept by the Trump Organization, according to the jury.
The same “false entry” was allegedly produced on 12 other occasions, now entered into the “Detailed Ledger” for the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust, still preserved by the Trump Organization, according to verdict information.
Ultimately, 11 checks from the former president’s bank account were routed into the company’s directory with the intent to defraud or conceal a commission, according to the official report.
All document falsifications occurred over a period from February 14 to February 1er December 2017, according to the verdict report.
Donald Trump will receive his official sentence on July 11.
