A 22-year-old American from New York made a spectacle of himself by eating a large pot of cheese balls under his hood in front of hundreds of onlookers.
Attracted by promotional posters for the event, spectators gathered in Union Square Park in Manhattan on Saturday, according to the New York Post.
“Look at me eating this whole jar of cheese balls,” can we read on the poster plastered all over the city with a photo of the young man holding a giant jar of snacks.
“I decided to do it because I thought New York City could use something like this,” the young man said, admitting that “cheese balls are fun and eating a whole tub of them is a difficult task, but not impossible.
The anonymous cheese ball eater accomplished his feat in almost 30 minutes, before going to sign autographs to the public who came to support him in his performance, according to the American newspaper.
“I think everyone wants to be behind the mask,” said the anonymous eater, a student of his state, who admits that he did not really expect “that so many people would show up.”
