A 33-year-old American man from Florida wanted for stealing a boat and vehicle tried to evade police by disguising himself as a woman, but his plan failed.
Joshua Kolotka was seen leaving a house in an unusual outfit as police investigated a theft of a boat and a sport utility vehicle (SUV) in Lakeport.
“They saw Joshua Kolotka come out of a residence disguised as a woman in an attempt to go incognito,” the Glades County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement, picked up by the “Daily Mail” on Wednesday.
The 30-year-old was immediately arrested at the scene and held without bail in the Glades County jail, said authorities, who found several other items likely stolen by the suspect at the scene.
