An American adult film actor who wanted to test the strength of his Tesla Cybertruck by putting it to the test with firearm projectiles.
Dante Colle actually wanted to test the claims of the boss of the automobile giant, Elon Musk, who had described the new car as “the most exceptional object on the road”, according to what the Belgian media 7Sur7 reported on Thursday.
During a first test, Mr. Colle filmed himself shooting at the vehicle to see the bullet easily pierce the metal exterior and lodge itself in the bodywork, thus contradicting the assurances of Musk who welcomed the resistance of the Cybertruck.
“I don’t think this car is bulletproof,” the shooter commented, before throwing a second bullet that may have ricocheted, but a large impact was visible on the electric pickup.
During the presentation of the first Cybertruck model in 2019, a simple steel projectile was able to shatter the windows presented as “unbreakable”, before the manufacturer rectified the situation by improving the resistance of the windows.
In a test, Tesla released footage that showed employees targeting Cybertrucks with guns, but the electric vans held up better this time.
