A man was arrested Wednesday afternoon in New York state for posing as a dance instructor and enticing underage girls to send him explicit videos.
Taner Ocal allegedly created a fake Instagram account under the name @baddiedancehouse in order to contact children.
These are two young girls from Texas, aged 10, who informed the Forth Worth police that exchanges by messaging between the individual and them took place between May and June, according to the authorities’ explanations.
Police conducted a search of his home in Lindenhurst and child pornography and several text messages were found on his cell phone.
Mr. Ocal allegedly used his fake persona on social networks to encourage young girls to send videos where they were dancing inappropriately.
He was charged with possession of child pornography and promoting sexual acts upon children, police said.
