A 35-year-old New Jersey man was arrested after revealing a veritable arsenal of war hidden in his home on social media.
Kyle Arena boasted his massive cache of guns, knives and explosives at his home in a quiet neighborhood near Totowa, the New York Post reported Friday.
It was a citizen, whose identity has not been revealed, who alerted the police, with supporting screenshots, to the suspect’s disturbing publications on Facebook
The Totowa police officers who went to the scene discovered a veritable arsenal of war, including around a hundred magazines and explosives and bladed weapons.
The thirty-year-old had the habit of showing off armed and publishing “questionable content” in Facebook groups, continued the American media.
In one post, the suspect is seen pointing a gun at people while he was in a car, so in one of his photos he appeared to be aiming at an invisible target.
The police officers who searched the suspect’s home discovered the cache of weapons into which an investigation was opened.
The suspect who is expected to appear next week faces charges related to illegal possession of firearms, while his father was arrested during the search.
