One of the most active volcanoes in the world has erupted. A video from the United States Geological Survey shows Kilauea, located on the Big Island of Hawaii, projecting its enormous columns of lava into the air.
Kilauea has remained in almost continuous eruption since 1983. It is one of Hawaii’s six active volcanoes, including Mauna Loa, the largest in the world.
