(Washington) A judge in the American state of North Dakota on Friday ordered the famous NGO Greenpeace to pay $345 million in damages to the operator of an oil pipeline to which it had opposed, according to a copy of the judgment consulted by AFP.

This decision is a hard blow for the organization fighting against climate change which denounced in this affair the desire of an American hydrocarbon player to “silence” it by ruining it.
