Government efforts in Japan to support the auto sector policy

The Japanese auto sector is facing an increase in US customs duties that began in force last April, which will affect major car companies.

At a time when the Japanese government announced its intention to support this affected sector, a second round of negotiations is being held on customs tariffs in Washington, between the ministers of both countries. However, the possibility of its failure is an existing obsession that worries Japanese car makers and some pushes to increase production in the United States, while others decided to stop exporting specific types of cars pending what the negotiating path will happen.
