Today, hundreds of Palestinians mourned the body of colleague Samer Abu Daqqa, Manhattan Tribune cameraman, who was martyred, on Friday, in an Israeli bombing of the Farhana School in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, while carrying out his journalistic duty.
After performing the funeral prayer for Abu Daqqa in the courtyard of Nasser Hospital, his body was buried in the cemetery of the city of Khan Yunis.
Hundreds of Palestinians, including dozens of journalists, participated in the funeral ceremony for Abu Daqqa’s body, and our colleague Wael Al-Dahdouh, Manhattan Tribune’s correspondent – who was injured in the same bombing – was at the forefront of the mourners along with the rest of the channel’s crew and reporters.
