Tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians headed to Rafah, the far south of the Gaza Strip on the Egyptian border, some of whom were forced to flee for the third or fourth time in less than two months, after the Israeli occupation army expanded its aggression to include all areas of the Strip.
As the brutal Israeli aggression continued, most of the Gaza Strip’s population – 2.3 million people – became homeless.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced yesterday, Tuesday, that tens of thousands of internally displaced Palestinians arrived in Rafah Governorate during the past two days, after the occupation army announced the expansion of its aggression against the Gaza Strip.
Despite the occupation’s evacuation demands, its planes bombed the roads between Khan Yunis and Rafah, and targeted several homes in the city of Rafah, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded.
