Commenting on the launch of the program, the CEO of the Qatar International Court, Faisal bin Rashid Al-Sahouti, said that the launch of the legal clinic of the Qatar International Court constitutes an opportunity for lawyers who seek to provide voluntary services towards their community for those who are not financially able and work to ensure access to justice for all.
The Qatar News Agency stated that the launch of the Legal Clinic Program initiative comes as a continuation of the court’s efforts to develop the legal environment and ensure access to justice for all, by providing the necessary legal channels for this, and in line with the legal framework followed by the court in settling civil and commercial disputes.
She explained that the Qatar International Court was established to enhance the confidence of international financial companies licensed in it, by obtaining justice in resolving their disputes through a specialized international judicial body to resolve investment and commercial disputes.
The agency added that the court is an important element within Qatar’s vision to attract foreign investments and capital, which contributes to diversifying its economy, by providing judicial services in accordance with international standards, which contribute to providing a healthy business environment and adjudicating disputes efficiently and effectively in a short time.
