The United States Department of Justice made Donald Trump informed, during a meeting last May, that his name appeared among others in the files of the Jeffrey Epstein case. This is what the American daily reports Tea Wall Street Journal.
The United States General Prosecutor Pam Bondi said that the name of the American president had repeatedly emerged when processing a huge amount of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, a wealthy man who died in 2019 before his trial for sexual crimes.
The chef of justice would also have mentioned that the names of “many other known personalities” also appeared in the documents seized.
With regard to the disclosure of the documents in question, representatives of the Department of Justice would have told the President that they did not intend to publish more, in particular because of the childhood of these.
“Being mentioned in these documents is not a sign of reprehensible behavior,” said The Wall Street Journal.
Donald Trump was already at the war open with The Wall Street Journalwhich he continues in defamation after the publication last Thursday, of an article attributing him a health letter addressed to Jeffrey Epstein.
The controversy surrounding the Epstein affair continues to shake the political community in the United States, to the Congress, where the Democrats tried without success to demand the total revealing of the documents of the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.
On Wednesday, CNN also unveiled new photos of Jeffrey Epstein at Donald Trump’s wedding. The two men were photographed together several times in the 1990s and early 2000.
