“Disruptive” behaviour by an apparently drunk passenger on board an EasyJet flight has forced the plane to make an emergency landing as it flew at more than 30,000 feet.

The incident occurred on board an Airbus A320 that took off from London Gatwick Airport in the United Kingdom on Tuesday, bound for Kos International Airport in Greece.

In a video posted to TikTok by user @charlotte_keen1, the man in question can be seen engaging in a verbal war with other passengers, leading to a fight and his arrest.

The passenger is believed to have consumed significant amounts of alcohol, including whisky, during the first hours of the flight.

When the plane hit some turbulence, the passenger allegedly became angry and stood up and said the captain was “useless,” according to the New York Post.

He even allegedly fought with the crew and broke the on-board intercom, according to reports. The Sun.

A man on board the flight reportedly held the problematic passenger until the captain made the landing.

When the plane landed, German police reportedly arrested the man and removed him from the plane, to applause from other passengers, according to the TikTok video.

“Get off the plane, you loser,” one passenger can be heard shouting in the video.

The emergency landing of the EasyJet flight due to “disruptive behaviour” by the passenger was carried out at Munich airport one hour and 44 minutes after take-off, according to FlightAware.

“Although this is beyond our control, we apologize for the inconvenience,” EasyJet said.
