The late Queen Elizabeth II wasn’t exactly fond of former President Donald Trump, calling him “very rude.”
At least that’s what the new book on the royal family reveals. A Voyage Around the Queenby Craig Brown, that the tabloid Daily Mail published in several parts of this gossip book.
In this new biography of the British sovereign, the author looks back at the sidelines of official visits to Buckingham Palace by world leaders, from Bashar al-Assad to Vladimir Putin, including Emperor Hirohito and the former Republican president.
“A few weeks after President Trump’s visit, for example, she told one of his guests that she found him ‘very rude’: she particularly hated the way he kept looking over his shoulder,” Brown wrote.
He mentions in his book that Queen Elizabeth II believed that President Trump “should have some sort of arrangement” with his wife Melania, not without questioning their marriage, according to the Daily Mail.
The royal palace has not reacted to these revelations, which would certainly deal a severe blow to Mr. Trump, who will try to return to the White House during the next presidential election, added the Daily Mail.
