The bodies of two mothers were reportedly found lifeless two weeks after disappearing along the side of a road in Oklahoma, while going to pick up the children of one from their paternal grandparents, who would be the main suspects in this case.

“The Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has recovered two deceased individuals in the rural Texas county. The two individuals will be transported to the medical examiner’s office to determine their identification, as well as the cause and manner of death,” the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said on Sunday on X, according to the “New York Post”.

On March 30, Jillian Kelley, 39, accompanied Veronica Butler, 27, to pick up her children from their paternal grandparents in Eva when the two Kansas mothers were reported missing.

Veronica Butler’s vehicle was then found soaked in blood and abandoned in the Oklahoma countryside, near the border with Kansas, but the two women remained nowhere to be found, according to the New York newspaper.

Except that on Saturday, the police announced the arrest of four individuals, including Tifany Machel Adams, 54, who would be the paternal grandmother of the children according to NewsNation, her partner Tad Bert Cullum, 43, as well as a couple of friends, Cole Earl Twombly, 50 years old and Cora Twombly, 44 years old, in connection with the disappearances.

It was then that the two remains were finally located on Sunday, after a two-week search.

“The four individuals were booked into the Texas County Jail on two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of kidnapping and one count of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder,” the office said. investigation.

According to the American media, Veronica Butler was in the middle of a legal battle for full custody of her children at the time of her disappearance, even though it was her paternal grandmother who had custody of them, according to the local channel KFOR.
