The historic guilty verdict targeting former US President Donald Trump will be beneficial for the electoral strategy of the Democratic clan which is preparing for several major events in anticipation of the US presidential election, according to journalist Richard Latendresse and pollster Jean-Marc Léger.

Mr. Latendresse believes that outgoing President Joe Biden’s team will present the 81-year-old politician as the only bulwark against Donald Trump.
“If you consider that Donald Trump is rotten to the core, which justice has demonstrated, well, you must choose Biden, even if you find him old, even if you find him slow, even if you find it outdated,” he illustrated.
Pollster Jean-Marc Léger added that the Democratic clan has every interest in using the guilty verdict to seek the most donations from voters.
“(The question that arises) among the Democrats is how to monetize this event, because the American campaign is almost a billion dollars,” he explained.
