An American father of five children allegedly killed his wife and three adult daughters on Sunday in a quiet suburb of Chicago.
The tragedy occurred around 11:30 a.m. in the family home located in the peaceful village of Tinley Park, according to local public security cited by the “New York Post”.
The alleged perpetrator of the quadruple murder himself called the police who made the macabre discovery in the family home, before arresting him on the spot.
When the police arrived at the scene of the tragedy, they discovered the four women lying in a pool of blood on the ground with bullet holes on their bodies, according to the “NY Post”.
The medical examiner identified the four victims as Majeda Kassem, 59, Halema Kassem (25), Zahia Kassem (25) and Hanan Kassem (24), according to ABC 7.
In addition to the arrest of the father, the murder weapon was also recovered by the police for the purposes of the investigation, added the New York tabloid.
