A video shows the containers falling like dominoes of a huge ship, registered in Portugal, while cranes moved above them in the port of Long Beach, near Los Angeles.

Air images have revealed that several containers had crushed on what seemed to be a kind of support ship.

The contents of the containers were not immediately known, but the journalists who flew over the premises reported having seen shoes and clothing floating in the water.

Some of the 12 -meter boxes already seemed to have flowed, while others floated on the surface of the water, stacked on each other like scattered matches.
