The American Boeing Aircraft Industry Company announced today, Tuesday, a net loss of $ 11.82 billion during the year 2024, and the company suffered from problems in the quality of production and a lengthy strike for workers.

“Despite the difficulties we have seen, we notice encouraging indicators to progress while we are working to structure the group,” said Kelly Ordrag, who has been taking over the company since the summer in a letter addressed to the employees.

The company’s shares fell marginalized in the latest transactions before the opening by 0.09% to 175 dollars.

On October 12, Boeing, which faces problems in the quality of production and witnessed a strike for more than 50 days, which has paralyzed two major factories, announced its intention to reduce her hand operating globally by 10% in the coming months.

Delivery

Boeing 348 aircraft was handed over during 2024 a third of a third of the previous year after a series of crises that followed the explosion of a door plate in the air a year ago, in addition to a workers’ strike in the past fall that stopped production in a number of its factories.

This led to the expansion of the delivery gap with the Boeing’s lead competitor, Airbus, who delivered 766 aircraft to customers last year, the largest number since 2019, although both companies face pressure in the supply chain that slowed production and fulfill their strong accumulations otherwise.

Last December, Boeing handed over 30 aircraft as it resumed the production of the best -selling 737 MAX aircraft after the nearly 8 -week machine strike was over the previous month.

Boeing 142 registered a total request last December to purchase new aircraft, including 100 737 Max aircraft for Turkish Bigasos Air and 30 787 aircraft for flydubai.

Boeing deleted more than 130 requests for the Indian company Gate Airizes, which was filtered after it was saved.
