Three boys nicknamed the “little rascals” were arrested in Texas in connection with a bank robbery, the FBI announced Thursday.

Since they are minors, very little information has been released about these young offenders aged 11, 12 and 16. “Due to the fact that they are minors, neither their name nor any additional details will be released,” a spokesperson for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office in Houston told NBC.

The “little rascals” appeared on the FBI’s radar after being filmed on March 14 allegedly robbing a Wells Fargo bank in Houston’s Greenspoint neighborhood.

The boys handed a threatening note to a bank teller, who then gave them an undisclosed amount of money. They then fled on foot with their silver loot, ABC 13 news channel reported.

The FBI released an X-ray photo of three people wearing hooded jackets inside the bank lobby and asked the public to help track down these “little rascals.” “Believe it or not, they just robbed the Wells Fargo at 10261 North Freeway,” the FBI’s Houston Division continued on X.

It was thanks to the collaboration of their parents, who reported them to the FBI, that the boys were apprehended, ABC 13 reported.

The alleged thieves were each charged with robbery by menacing, a spokesperson for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office in Houston said in an email.
