(Washington) The FBI, the American federal police, searched the home of a journalist from Washington Post as part of an investigation into leaks of information relating to national security, we learned on Wednesday from consistent sources.

“At the request of the War Department, the Justice Department and the FBI conducted a search of the home of a journalist Washington Post who received and reported on classified information illegally disclosed by a Pentagon subcontractor,” the Justice Secretary said on X.
THE Washington Post had previously announced this search on Wednesday morning at the home of its journalist, Hannah Natanson, specifying that “her phone, her two laptops and a Garmin watch had been seized”.
