A brazen thief pointed his gun at a Canadian on a street in Greenwich Village in New York before stealing his Rolex watch worth $40,000, then fleeing on a motorcycle with an accomplice.

The victim is a 58-year-old Canadian man, according to New York police. He refused medical treatment for a minor cut on his wrist, police said.
The armed criminal allegedly showed up on foot in front of the Canadian at the corner of MacDougal and Bleecker streets in Manhattan’s working-class Greenwich Village neighborhood, according to the New York Post.
He allegedly threatened him with his gun, demanding that the man give him his luxury watch.
The bandit stole the watch and a bracelet worth $2,000 before going to join an accomplice traveling on a scooter and getting on board.
According to several sources and the police, the suspect has not yet been found.
The attack came days after a previous robbery allegedly took place outside the upscale Italian restaurant Carbone, a few blocks away, on June 18.
Two individuals on scooters took a Patek Philippe watch worth $100,000 from a 39-year-old man by threatening him with a weapon, according to law enforcement.
It is not yet clear whether the two events are linked, the report said. New York Post.
