The man arrested after gunshots were heard near Donald Trump at his West Palm Beach, Florida, golf club has been formally charged with gun-related crimes.

Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was arrested Sunday afternoon after fleeing on I-95 near the golf course.
When he arrived at the courthouse, the suspect was wearing black prison clothing and had his hands and feet shackled.
When he appeared before the judge, he was formally charged with possession of a weapon as a convicted felon and possession of a weapon with an illegible serial number.
In a court filing, a copy of which was obtained by CNN, FBI agent Mark A. Thomas said Secret Service agents fired at him around 1:30 p.m. Sunday when they saw his gun.
Mr. Routh then allegedly fled before being caught by police on I-95.
Investigators analyzed his movements through his cell phone and estimate that he had been at the scene since 2 a.m., which means he would have spent nearly 12 hours there before being intercepted.
At the golf course, authorities found the suspect’s weapon along with a backpack and a bag of food.
Ryan Wesley Routh was convicted of possession of stolen goods in March 2010.
According to information obtained by CNN, other charges could be brought against him in the coming days.
He will return to court on September 23.
