Around forty workers at a seafood factory in Maryland, United States, suffered food poisoning on Monday after eating a dish brought by an employee for lunch, several American media reported.
Three hours after the dinner break, several employees at the NAFCO distribution plant fell ill one after another.

The cause of this mass food poisoning is believed to be a noodle dish of Filipino origin that was brought by one of the factory workers. He would have shared his meal with several of his colleagues, while they were in the factory parking lot.
The dish at the heart of this incident is said to be a noodle dish called pancit. This includes rice noodles, vegetables, chicken, chicken broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce and sugar.
