Madison Bergmann, a 24-year-old teacher at River Crest Elementary School in Wisconsin, was arrested for ‘dating’ an 11-year-old student in her class, apparently moving her victim’s desk near hers so she could massage the legs.

“My daughter thought he was a problem student,” the mother of another student told New York Post. “She said her office had been moved near Ms. Bergmann’s a few months ago and assumed he was in trouble.”
“When it was lunch time, she asked him to stay in class so that fueled the idea that he was having problems,” the mother continues.
The alleged victim told police a similar story.
According to a criminal complaint filed in St. Croix District Court, the fifth-grader told sex crimes investigators that his teacher rubbed his thigh and calf during reading period.
Because of his desk’s strategic placement in the classroom, “he did not believe other students could see what was happening,” the suit alleges.
The student also confirmed to police that his teacher asked him to stay after class.
Madison Bergmann was formally charged with assault on a minor, in addition to having been suspended by her employer.
She was released pending court proceedings on $25,000 bail.
