Quebecers in Florida were treated to an imposing low pressure system which left a lot of rain on Saturday.

The strong winds that accompanied the liquid precipitation caused the formation of large waves in several locations, including Hollywood and Pompano Beach.

The Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa areas were also under severe weather warnings.

Parking lots along coastal areas were flooded and Hollywood’s famous “Boardwalk” was deserted by tourists.

Maximum temperatures forecast in South Florida range from 20 to 25 degrees between now and Christmas.
