An employee found a body near a major New York carousel on Monday.
THE New York Post reported that the remains were found shortly before 9 a.m. near the Jane Carousel, located near downtown Brooklyn at the intersection of Dock and Water streets.
The remains were covered in clothing and a pair of boots were also found nearby, sources told the Big Apple daily.
This is the second gruesome discovery in Brooklyn in the space of 24 hours. On Sunday, a man was found unconscious in the water near Red Hook.
