A 30-year-old man reportedly lost his life on Sunday after being hit head-on on a highway in San Antonio, while trying to retrieve his two dogs who had just escaped from the passenger compartment, during a roadside stop .

This is where a 30-year-old man reportedly lost his life just a few hours earlier, around 10 p.m. Saturday, after being forced to stop on the side of the road for a problem with his travel vehicle, police reportedly said. to local media.

Except that at the time of the stop, the thirty-year-old’s two dogs managed to escape from the passenger compartment, forcing the thirty-year-old to chase them on the highway.

He managed to put his hand on the collar of one of his companions before the duo was hit head-on by a commercial vehicle from the propane company Blue Rhino, the television channel reported.

The driver of the truck tried as best he could to help the 30-year-old, but the man died at the scene while the dog he was holding in his arms suffered significant injuries, according to KSAT-TV.

The second dog was reportedly recovered on the other side of the road, unharmed, by San Antonio Animal Care Services, reported the New York Post.
