Member states are at odds, with some supporting Israel and others opposing its war against Hamas in Gaza.
The war between Israel and Hamas has exposed deep divisions within the European Union over policy towards Israel and Palestine.
The only unity found was the condemnation of Hamas and its October 7 attacks that killed around 1,200 Israelis.
But there was no such unity against Israel’s killing of thousands of Palestinians, most of whom were women and children.
On the one hand, Germany fully supports Israel, on the other, Belgium wants sanctions.
So, can we even define EU policy towards Gaza when it is so divided?
Is it actually pro-Israeli? And does this war change positions?
